What am I doing? I guess like all bloggers I'm trying to communicate. But what, to whom, for why? becomes the next question.
Lets start with the "to whom". I hope through this blog to communicate with a couple of different groups of people. I would like for the congregation I pastor to visit and learn here, to see their Pastor "outside" the church. I also hope this blog will be a means of keeping family, friends and ministry supporters updated. I suppose that others, unknown to me, my find their way here through the world wide web. I'm not really expecting that but who knows, adoring fans from around the globe waiting for my least of comments to get them through the day? It could happen.
"What" do I wish to communicate? All kinds of things, I guess. We'll see what I actually write about but I'm thinking along the lines of a mix of Biblical insights into various subjects, maybe a book/movie review, family news and local events, and odd ramblings of thoughts and experiences I might have (or wish to have).
"For why"? Because I can? I hope this blog benefits some. I hope I gain from the effort. I hope to lift high the name of Jesus and edify His children.
Well. we'll see what happens here....
